Commitment to Community and Education

My candidacy is driven by a genuine desire to advocate for transparent and responsive school governance. Support our teachers and staff who are the backbone of our educational system and ensure that our district maintains high-quality educational standards while being fiscally responsible. Creating an inclusive environment that supports the diverse needs of all students while bridging the communication between the school administration, teachers, parents, and the community

By serving on the Board of Education, I aim to contribute my perspective as a parent, my commitment to our community, and my dedication to providing the best possible educational experience for our children.

About Me

I’m a dedicated community leader and education advocate who brings a unique blend of professional and administrative expertise. I am passionate and committed to supporting students. parents and schools. With a robust background in both corporate management and educational support, I’ve been an active contributor to District 118 for almost 15 years.

My professional journey spans over 25 years, transitioning from a successful corporate career in purchasing, production scheduling, and warehouse management to a deeply fulfilling role in education. In 2015, I discovered my true passion working in the Special Education Department for District 120 as an Instructional Aide and Job Coach. Currently, I’m serving as the Administrative Assistant at the District 120 Transition Center, where I continues to support students' educational and professional development.

With an International Business Major from the University of Texas Pan Am, I bring a global perspective and strategic thinking to educational leadership. The diverse experience in corporate management, educational support, and community leadership uniquely positions me to continue serving the district with dedication, insight, and a genuine passion for student success.

A proud resident of Volo since 2010, my family found this community to be incredibly welcoming. Married to Oscar, and the proud mother of two children: Hannah, a 2022 Wauconda High School graduate now studying at Savannah College of Art and Design, and Diego, a current Junior at Wauconda High School.
